We will provide services to enhance the Wi-Fi signal from the router of the Internet provider or expand the network with a visit to the office and home.

Now in homes and offices, Beltelecom routers with support for Wi-Fi 802.11n in the 2.4 GHz range are usually installed, which is overloaded. These routers provide only the basic need of users for wireless Internet at inexpensive Internet tariffs, not allowing to use the channel speed at 100%. 30Mbps raw speed is already a good indicator for them. Often there is a need to receive 50Mbps or more without laying a cable, and here you cannot do without using the new Wi-Fi 802.11ac standard.

Expanding Wi-Fi network using an additional router.

In such cases, a router with 5 GHz band support should be installed next to the ByFly terminal. Already many devices can work in this range and switching to work in it will free up the frequency for those who support only 2.4 GHz. The router can be placed in another part of the apartment and set up Wi-Fi roaming between it and the ByFly terminal. Phones, laptops and tablets will be able to move freely between access points without losing connection without the need for forced switching.

Expanding the network using a router connected using PowerLine technology

The second way to strengthen Wi-Fi in an apartment is to use PowerLine technology. The cable between the routers can be replaced with adapters that will allow the local network and the Internet to pass through the existing network of 220 Volt outlets in the apartment. Unfortunately, the method is quite expensive and not very reliable.

In large houses, as a rule, the 220-volt outlet network is so long that it does not work properly.

Direct amplification of Wi-Fi using a repeater.

A cheaper way to strengthen the Wi-Fi network in a renovated apartment can be to use repeaters. It does not require cabling if you have expensive repairs. Unfortunately, not all repeaters work well with ByFly terminals. In addition, repeaters can reduce the speed for Wi-Fi devices located near the main access point.

Direction of Wi-Fi signal using antennas.

There are cheaper and even less effective ways to improve indoor communications.

You can direct the Wi-Fi signal using antennas. A well-working method in open areas is not so good indoors due to the fact that the very first wall leads to the scattering of the signal created by the antenna in different directions. In addition, if the signal is sent to one side by the antenna, then from the opposite side it weakens.
